Do not go to this place they are lairs and money hungry, I went to them twice and all they did was take X-rays and sent their trusty liar Vladimir to give me a bill of 2615.00 for a post and crown and when that is with insurance, for one tooth, I whipped out my phone and called my insurance and my insurance said oh all those services are covered, you don't need to pay that, Vladimir stood there and lied like completely lied about it so save your self the troubles

DO NOT GO HERE! THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTIST! THEY WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU! My dental insurance covers EVERYTHING...fillings, root canals, dental implants etc! I went to this dentist, they did x-rays and told me I have 9 cavities (which turned out to be a lie) and when tooth that needed a root canal. I set up an appointment to get a root canal. I would highly reconsider choosing Steinway Family Dental as your place for dental care. They will charge you for things never preformed!! It doesn't help that, in the beginning, I actually recommended this place to a friend and now they are going through the SAME EXACT shady billing issues as I did.Read the story below if you'd like all the details. SCAM! - these guys are scam artist. Told me that my insurance approved the work for fixing one of my teeth, then called me in for an appointment. At the appointment they told me that I was actually denied and they brought in their sales guy to pitch to me on why I should pay for it anyway. They are a waste of time. I noticed since the first cleaning I had there but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Please be careful.

My first time there was great. The woman that cleaned my teeth was very kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. I was informed I had a cavity and that the erosion on my two front teeth could be fixed with laminates. They also gave me recommendations for my teeth sensitivity. When they called me after my cleaning, they wouldn't tell me why I had to go in, but that I NEEDED to. I figured it was for my cavity. No. First they didn't know why I was there. UPDATE! One more thing to add to the reasons this place is awful. They told me when i was a patient there that getting my wisdom teeth extracted would cost around $2000 and that my insurance would not pay for it so I would have to pay out of pocket but "it is OK" because i can make payments. After realizing they were a scam and leaving, i went to Dr. Kalaman's office in Rego Park (the best dentist experience ever) and they removed my wisdom teeth, charged my insurance (the same company), and they paid for the whole thing. I gave one star because something has to be given. Its very sad what happens at this office. All of these low ratings are correct.. They literally have sales people that force you to get things done at their office, they don't take no for an answer and act rude if you say no. I had some work done that they said wasn't all covered by my insurance, so I had to pay like 3k, turns out my insurance did cover I just didn't see it in time.. They over charged my for like $500. I highly recommend that you get a second opinion from another dental clinic. Do not believe what ever this place says... This place will find what ever it is to make money out from your mouth.. Even super invasive procedures that you do not need. - when they find a minor problem - they will talk to you and make you feel like your teeth will fall apart if they can't collect $ from you. THEY ARE TERRIBLE! money hungry!!! they will make you do services that you do not need. and when you need something they will try to add on things.... THERES NO WAY TO TRUST hat those doctors say. i tried going there several times and i always have the same experience. GOES WITHOUT MENTION THAT THEY WILL SUPER CHARGE YOU ON YOUR INSURANCE. they charge almost double to your insurance if you have one, and go there you might as well pay in cash.... THEY WILL CLEAN YOU CAP!
