I am extremely disappointed with my experiences at Strong Roots Dental. The office uses very pushy sales tactics and frequently tries to persuade patients to spend anywhere from $100 to $1,000 on services or products that don't seem necessary. I've experienced this multiple times, and each visit ends with me feeling pressured into spending hundreds of dollars beyond a normal appointment. I would not recommend this dentist's office and will never return. First of all, the dentist who I booked my appointment with doesn't even work there anymore. Her name and photo are still posted on their office window and online, and their current dentist's isn't. Second, their lack of cleanliness was disgusting and concerning. It is incredibly dusty and dirty inside, with old gross furniture and broken blinds. This office showed me how truly important it is to be your own advocate and how absolutely necessary it is to get a second opinion. It is shocking to me that this place has been operating for as long as it has been. They are predatory. Period. I went in for an emergency appt this morning as I was having extreme upper mouth pain. I was super clear that it wasn't coming from one area but I just wanted to make sure my tooth health was okay. Writing this to potentially save others time and money. Key issues I experienced: 1. Scheduling mistakes and excessive appointment reminders/calls 2. Office was disorganized upon arrival. Had to wait and was moved between rooms a couple of times before being seen 3. Pushy sales tactics for unnecessary procedures 4. Asked to give a Google review during the cleaning. The front desk does the best they can but the doctors and the billing dept are very unorganized. They rescheduled my appointments multiple times. And waited till the last minute to tell me I owed over $2K and would need to pay it before I could have my crown put on, which meant coming up with that amount of money in a span of 2 weeks. I would not recommend and I had a very poor experience with this practice. I had an unfulfilled order from years ago, and this practice was not helpful at all in looking in to the matter, understanding the situation, or coming up with a resolve (leaving me without a benefit from my insurance for another two years). There was no empathy or desire to help - which is surprising given their partnership with my dental insurance company, and the fact that I had been patient for two years.
