Our family has been seeing Dr. Matheson since they opened, which has been at least 10 years now! We have received friendly, caring, and professional service from the office staff, dental hygienists and Dr. Matheson himself. All my children are grown now. One of my children is on the autism spectrum and is NOT big on dental appointments. Everyone at this office has been supportive, encouraging, and willing to work with my son's anxieties. Dr. Alex and staff are friendly, personable and professional. We were so glad to find a great dental practice near us when we moved to Queen Creek, we had a false start with another practice here and since finding Dr. Matheson we've recommended him to others. The staff was patient and helpful as we resolved an insurance payment issue. We couldn't be happier with the quality of care, from the office staff and hygienists and especially the Doctor himself.

Terribly dishonest practice! They promised my girlfriend everything was covered. We asked several times before scheduling. We were assured that we were good .Then, while she was in the chair, they came in with all of these extra charges and stuff that was never ever talked about! Wouldn't do a thing until we came up with almost 5k!! The owner was no help and the manager Callie is the worst! She was rude, standoffish and downright heartless in my opinion! This Dental Office is a classic bait and switch and a complete comedy of errors. Unfortunately, I need a lot of dental work done and am experiencing tooth pain. I decided to look at getting a full arch implant and contacted them. Strike 1: The scheduler on the phone told me that this option started as low as $8k. I am still bothered by the hundred dollars a week. I am paying for an eight hundred dollar extra bill that exceeded the original estimate. I have very good dental coverage but agreed to pay the extra $2000 that my insurance did not cover. I went over the estimate thoroughly before we did the work only to find that there was another 800 that was due. keep in mind, they can report you as a late pay on your credit bureau. That's why they take your Social Security number on your initial sign-up.

The dentist seemed so kind and wanted to help me when I called to make the visit they said the least they would do was X-rays and help get me something for my pain, antibiotics etc, I said perfect, they did the X-rays came back to talk to me I wanted to make sure my insurance would cover it before I decided on any plan:) they brought the dentist in and consulted me telling me what I need and that I needed an antibiotic for the infection, the other assistant comes back in to let me know I'm not covered, so I decide to not go ... read more

After weeks of calling and waiting for a return call that NEVER came we gave up and went elsewhere. I sent messages on FB, we called and called, left messages, but absolutely nothing. It's clear they have plenty of patients and aren't looking for additional. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
