Dr. Dulac has a way about him that keeps me calm and collected during dental procedures. The first time I saw him he had to fill 6 cavities....yes 6. I was so scared going into the procedure, but he was so gentle. With his light hand, and his recommendation of nitrous for the procedure, I felt like I was at a relaxing spa versus having a dental procedure. From the reception desk associate,to the dental hygienist to the dental associates to Dr. Dulac, this is the first time I don't have any trepidation about going to the dentist. Dr. Dulac is very gentle and always explains in detail what his exam shows. My teeth have never been is such great condition. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone. Been coming here since I was in the 2nd grade and it was owned by Bruce Markoff. I was a little nervous when I heard Dr. Markoff was retiring (as well as many of the hygienists I've seen over the years), but I've had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Dulac and his staff.

I had a very disappointing experience with Dulac Dental of Springfield. I want to start by saying that Dr. Dulac is a very good dentist, and I personally have no complaints about the care I received from him. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff/management during this situation was very different. I contacted the office because I wanted to reschedule my wisdom tooth extraction due to concerns about having enough recovery time with my work responsibilities. At our office when a patient calls to cancel the day of the procedure due to transportation issues. We always offer Uber or pick up as a courtesy in order to try and help the patient get to the appointment and avoid the cancellation fee. I regret I visited this doctor, unfortunately he only concerns about maximizing insurance without thinking what's best for a patient

When Dr. Markoff ran the business it was great. I have never felt more at ease with a dental professional than with him. He would actually call us after each procedure to see how we were doing- who else does that?Seems he was a tough act to follow. Once Dulac took over I quickly fell out of favor with this practice. It felt to me he was new to dentistry and his lack of experience was immediately obvious. I felt he was learning the trade on me, though his assistants were good. Thanks for your review. I’m glad you found a practice you’re happy at and are getting the treatment you need in an environment you’re comfortable in. That’s the most important thing. I’m not sure what “had a crown fail” means, but we do have a same day crown machine in the office and I can’t remember the last time I had one break but if it occurs I make the patient a new one gratis. Similarly, if the cement fails, and it comes off, I will typically get the person in the day they call and cover the re-cementation. Only 10... read more
